Aside from photographing I absolutly love designing albums. It’s so awesome to see it all come together in the gallery album. Especially when it comes to weddings. Summing up an entire day in one awesome book is Epic.

When I started designing Ed & Jody’s wedding album one thought came to mind. IT HAS TO BE ROCK AND ROLL. With that one idea came an awesome cover. Then came an awesome opening page all the way through to the end of the album.

Desiging it was different compared to the other albums I have done. Mainly because the cover set the whole tone for how the album was going to be. It wasn’t every day that I got to design the cover with skull and cross bones. The choice of doing the skull and cross bones came ALMOST IMMEDIATLY when I started designing the album.

Ed & Jody have decided on the acrylic cover which will absolutly make this cover even more epic. & the Metallic page finish they decided on will give each image that extra WOW.

Ed & Jody’s Rock and Roll Album!

The Layout above is a special one. The image you see is the grooms cake. I had to remove the background from the original photo for it to look like this. But the story behind the grooms cake is; The bride and groom are huge fans of Helmet so much so that they follow them to all their shows and he proposed to her at one of their shows. So when I was designing this layout I knew it had to have that show appeal. It had to be the only thing going on. And above is what came to be. THEY LOVED IT to say the least.

The original design to this was their last name. But when the bride and groom came in to go over the album ideas were flowing. Something about just the last name wasn’t quite right so we brainstormed to see what could be done. The groom said I KNOW let’s just do an M. Like the M you (to Jody the bride) have tattoed on your ring finger. AND BOOM it is ABSOLUTLY a perfect way to end the album.
